This image was painted by Maria Gama in 1945 under the direction Father Joesph Jarzebowski, MIC.  A black and white photo of the original Vilnius image was used as the source.  This striking image now hangs in the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbrigde Massachusetts and is seen daily, during the Chaplet, on EWTN.
